Adding this intricate unit to your landscaping wonderfully captures attention, and appears to turn found objects into striking, functional art. Oblong, slightly domed metal panels join in the center to create the bird's body, with gear shapes on two sides holding the wing figures. A silver colored arrow atop the dual, copper colored gears enhances their bright appeal, and contrasts the green and red tones on the body. A spring forms the bird's neck, supporting its head and two raised orbs for eyes. The significant, copper colored, open beak adds a bit of personality to the bird, and matches its legs, feet, and shoulder gears. A metal, semicircular rod with bottom orb supports the ornate figure, and the forked base of this assembly rests on the top, "V" shaped channel of the included stake. An opening beneath this channel provides clearance for the arced rod and counterweight, so you can enjoy the lasting, gentle movement of the figure. Use the thumbscrew to secure this top section of the support to the bottom shaft, and insert its 5" long, step-in base into soil for added stability. The brown hue on the stake enhances the natural world, and allows the green, red, gray, and copper colors on the topper to shine.
