The surviving family of a single Merckel immigrant from Ha§loch to Ulster Co, New York Province around 1709, along with a second family grown in Ulster Co from 1711 to 1730, has produced thousands of Merkel, Markle, Maricle, Mericle, Miracle, Myracle, etc families spread across most of the United States and parts of Canada.
