Vintage Wedgwood 9ct Yellow Gold Cameo Brooch, Circa 1940A stunning statement brooch from Wedgwood, the cameo made of blue jasperware (high fired stoneware) the classical scene depicting two women, set in a 9ct rose gold beaded edge mount, with a pin and roller catch to the reverse. The back of the jasperware has been stamped for Wedgwood. Circa 1940. Stamped "9C" for 9ct gold. The brooch measures approximately 38. 5mm in diameter. The approximate weight is 10. 8 grams. CONDITION: In very good vintage condition, with some light surface wear commensurate with age. The pin and catch function perfectly. There are some natural holes to the backs of some of the beaded edging.
