Experience the magnetic pull of divain.214, a bold men's fragrance belonging to the Amber Spicy family. This scent delivers an immediate impact, blending fiery heat with sophisticated coolness to create a truly balanced olfactory explosion. It is the definitive choice for the winter season, particularly when the sun goes down and you want to leave a lasting, confident impression.

The fragrance opens with an invigorating burst of bergamot and grapefruit, sharpened by the resinous touch of pink pepper and elemi. As it settles on your skin, a vibrant heart emerges where saffron and cinnamon meet the surprising kick of sweet paprika, creating a spicy warmth that feels both modern and intense. This evolution captures a sense of controlled power, perfectly suited for those who enjoy a fragrance that commands attention without saying a word.

With its high intensity and impressive longevity, divain.214 leaves a robust trail of vetiver, tobacco, and smooth leather. This deep, woody foundation ensures the scent stays with you throughout the night, making it ideal for formal events or high-stakes evenings out. This long-lasting fragrance is designed for a man who embraces his charisma and isn't afraid to stand out. If you are looking for a scent that feels like a sensory fuse waiting to be lit, this powerful composition will become your new signature.

This is a good book to read and understand how the European nations deployed their armies around the world to extract natural resources from other nations. Now, we have developing and underdeveloped nations.

Interesting book, dull period
Format: Paperback
As a Marxist historian, Hobsbawm sees the world at this time, as well as the modern world, as a playground for the forces of capitalism. He apologizes for taking a eurocentric approach to world history, while acknowledging that Europe largely determined the course of world events during this period. In spite of the title, there actually isn't much discussion of colonial empires; Hobsbawm seems more interested in how the Age of Empire affected the rulers more than the ruled. His Marxist sympathies are in evidence and at times make his conclusions a bit predictable, but some of his cultural critiques are quite brilliant. The chapter on the dilemmas posed by modern science is exceptional. Reading a book like this seems to me much more interesting than actually living in this period would have been.
