The Maxxis DTH is a lightweight, fast-rolling BMX and dirt jump tire designed for speed on hardpack tracks and urban surfaces. Originally developed for Olympic BMX racing, it’s become a favorite for dirt jumpers, pump track riders, and street riders looking for minimal rolling resistance and solid grip on smooth terrain.
The Maxxis DTH is a purpose-built tire for speed and agility on hard surfaces. Whether you're hitting the BMX track, sending dirt jumps, or ripping through pump tracks, the DTH is built to 'Drop the Hammer' with minimal rolling resistance and excellent control on packed terrain.

Key Features

    • Silkworm Puncture Protection (on select models): Enhances resistance to cuts and punctures.

    • Low-Profile Tread Pattern: Center tread is smooth and tightly packed for fast rolling; side knobs offer predictable cornering.

    • Single or Dual-Ply Options: Available in lightweight single-ply for racing or tougher dual-ply for dirt jump durability.

    • Multiple Sizes: Available in 20', 26', and 29' options to suit BMX, dirt jump, and urban bikes.

    • Lightweight Construction: One of the lightest tires in its category — especially popular for competitive BMX racing.

Ideal For

    • BMX Racing: Originally designed for Olympic-level BMX tracks — excels on hardpack and smooth surfaces.

    • Dirt Jumping & Pump Tracks: Lightweight and fast, ideal for air time and flowy, hardpacked tracks.

    • Urban Riding / Street: Smooth and fast on pavement or skatepark-style environments.

    • Commuting (29' version): Some riders use the larger sizes for fast, efficient city commuting on mountain or hybrid bikes.

and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition)
This is a required text for Internet Law classes. It is edited very poorly. There are typos on every other page, and I found two cases that were no longer good law (even though this is the new edition).

Bad book for SOA exam, but oh well.
Format: Paperback
While required by Society of Actuaries as the textbook for Short Term Actuarial Models exam, I could not recommend this textbook for any other purposes. Written by two Canadian actuaries, a lot of terms and explanations used in this textbook cannot be transferred into US P&C insurance. It fails to explains insurance's purpose and products effectively and as an intro book with unnecessary sentences to deliver personal thoughts. It is also a mess in following sections on ratemaking and reserving. I cannot sense a flow from this book that guides readers in an approachable manner. Overall, author compromises the size AND the quality.
