Booker's is produced by Jim Beam at their second distillery on Boston Road in Kentucky. Both the bourbon and that distillery are named after former Master Distiller, Booker Noe. Fred is the son of "Booker" Noe and the great grandson of the "Jim Beam", making him the seventh generation Beam family distiller.

Booker's Rye Big Time Batch' Limited Edition 13 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey Tasting Notes

Nose: Rich caramel and campfire smoke early on; it’s robust, but balanced. Crème brûlée with a sultry smokiness.

Palate: Raw honey with a dusting of nutmeg and a Scotch ale malt profile that’s creamy and mouth-coating. Alas, a heavy bite hides much, needing water to open up. A drop adds complexity, spice, vanilla, chocolate, and licorice.

Finish: Lingering finish.
