The courageous defenders of justice and liberty were revived when Archie Comics saw the success of Marvel and DC superheroes, and brought together due to the success of Justice League, Avengers, and Legion of Super-Heroes. The team came together in Fly-Man, and then were launched in their own comic in 1965.
