Allesandro Rivetto Barbaresco DOCG - 2020Aged for 2 years in barrel, then another year in bottle before release. Very rich and concentrated color in the glass, ruby edging garnet. Nicely grippy, fresh acidity, fine grained and earthy tannins edging into almost a bit of almond. The dark side of red fruits, and an elegant forward edge that keeps the acidity fresh back and forth across the palate. Very satisfying, and will only get better with age.
