The Monique Tunic

Monique is one of those pieces that feels like home. A modern throwback to our early days, she’s inspired by the shapes that built this brand — reinvented with fresh energy, 30 years later. She has a flattering oversized fit (but not too wide), fitted sleeves that hug the arms just right, and a soft frill hem that dips slightly at the sides for added shape and movement.

She’s easy, she’s elevated, and she’s everything we love about timeless style that still feels like you.

Why Monique earns her place in your wardrobe
Monique is a nod to the pieces that made us — and a reminder that great design doesn’t date. She moves easily between comfort and polish, with a silhouette that works on every body shape. The slim arms balance out the relaxed body, while the dipped hem adds that unmistakable MG touch. Made from our slightly lighter-weight jersey (Fabric 4), she has a softer, floatier feel than our heavier pieces — making her perfect for layering or wearing solo.

How to wear Monique

  • Layer over the Fleur vest with black tights and boots

  • Pair with a fitted skirt like the Bardot or Shannon

  • Style with Kate palazzos or Ellen cropped trousers

  • Dress down with leggings and trainers

  • Add a long necklace or bold earrings to highlight the neckline

Really good read, and leaves questions
Format: Paperback
Nice to see the Ben Solo story flushed out more than what was shown in The Last Jedi and The Rise Of Skywalker. A good job also of not explaining everything. Ben mentions something about what Skywalker did to Snoke, and then there's the Emperor himself speaking to Ben in his mind, which makes one wonder, if even the Emperor was his own voice in Ben's head, why didn't Kylo recognize him in The Rise Of Skywalker. Plenty of things left to really expand upon this very good story.

Excellent Story
Format: Paperback
Charles Soule is without a doubt one of the greatest Star Wars authors around. With this comic he keeps the reader on their toes making it hard to set the book down. It is a definite page turner and easily one of the best comics Marvel has out out under the Star Wars name. An intriguing story, unforgettable moments, and packed with lore, Star Wars fans are sure to love The Rise of Kylo Ren.

Ben Solo’s fall is tragic
Format: Paperback
We don’t know much about Ben Solo’s past, but this comic explains a little bit more about why he is the way he is. It also explains that he didn’t do all the things he himself implies in TLJ. It’s a story of a young man who is lost because those he is supposed to trust betray him, which is exactly what Snoke/Palpatine want. It shows he didn’t really have a choice in the path he took and it makes his redemption at the end of the saga powerful, even if the last movie itself destroys the myth of Star Wars. I love knowing that Rey and Ben have always had a connection and I hope that is something explored more deeply in Episode X when they bring Ben back.
