This is a single origin "Asahi" variety grown in "Okunoyama" and "Togawa" tea fields, which Horii Shichimeien manages, and which they also manufacture, process, and grind into matcha.
The "Asahi" variety is said to be the pinnacle of matcha, with excellent taste and aroma, and it ranks highly at competitions every year. The "Asahi" variety grown at Horii Shichimeien farm is named "Mumon" and has received rave reviews.
