| Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ our processing of the rotor is, we have shipped in the above package. Can’t go wrong with K&N

So I recently took my pickup in to have some recall work done, half way through the process I got a call from the dealership stating I needed a new air filter and that a new one would cost nearly $60. I chuckled and told then to put the old one back in and I immediately came to Amazon and ordered this cabin filter. I’ve used K&N products in the past and have never been sorry, and that is the case with this lifetime filter. Upon installing this filter I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference in air flow into the cabin, it even smelled better. If this filter ever gets dirty Ira easy to clean and reinstall, paying for itself over time. Do yourself a favor and pick one of these up, you will not be sorry.

Good Fit
I don’t expect this filter to last as long as the original filter but that’s okay because it is about half the cost. It looks well made. I didn’t see any flaws.
I chose this filter because it had some of the fewest complaints regarding the fit and it worked well for my ‘23 Subaru Forester. I may go back to an OEM filter next time but it’s nice to know that this one will work for me.
