Nase

Wenn es einen Barbaresco gibt, bei dem man unwillkürlich an feinsten Burgunder und an das Piemont gleichzeitig denken muss, dann ist es vielleicht dieser. Er duftet nach frischen Rosenblättern, Sandelholz und feinster Eiche mit einem Hauch Vanille. Dazu kommen Noten von Kirschen und Himbeeren, etwas Lavendel und Minze, etwas trockener Waldboden und Unterholz.

Gaumen

Am Gaumen ist der Roncagliette äußerst elegant, seidig, saftig und mit bestem Holz ausgestattet. Er präsentiert sich kraftvoll, aber frisch, schwebend und transparent. Er wirkt nur leicht erdig, ergänzt durch getrocknete Kirschen und Walderdbeeren, zeigt feine, aber markante Tannine und eine brillante, fordernde, aber gut eingebundene Säure. Der Wein ist beeindruckend präsent, wirkt locker und entspannt, hat aber ein festes Rückgrat aus feinkörnigem Tannin und klarer Säure. Ein großer Barbaresco!
