Der Schlossberg Grand Cru 2018 repraesentiert einen warmen, reifen Jahrgang auf dem beruehmten Granithang bei Kientzheim. Trapet Alsace hat hier einen Riesling erzeugt, der mehr Fuelle und Opulenz zeigt als die kuehleren Jahrgaenge, ohne dabei die charakteristische Mineralitaet des Schlossberg zu verlieren. Biodynamische Bewirtschaftung und ein zurueckhaltender Ausbau lassen das Terroir sprechen.

Goldgelb im Glas mit einer Nase aus reifem Pfirsich, Mirabelle, Feuerstein und einem Hauch Honig. Am Gaumen verbindet sich die saftige Frucht mit der fuer den Schlossberg typischen Granitfestigkeit. Bei 13 % Alkohol zeigt er eine schoene Balance zwischen Fuelle und Frische. Der Abgang ist lang und von einer leicht rauchigen Mineralitaet gepraegt.

In einer wunderbaren Trinkreife angekommen, passt dieser Riesling hervorragend zu kraeftigen Fischgerichten, Huhn in Rahmsosse oder einem gereiften Gruyere. Ein Grand Cru, der jetzt seine volle Schoenheit zeigt.
