Jahrhunderts. 45 dieser Spitzenwerke von knapp 30 Künstlerinnen und Künstlern – Gemälde, Druckgrafik, Zeichnungen und Fotografie – sind seit Herbst 2024 zu Gast im Museum Franz Gertsch. Im Zentrum der Auswahl stehen dabei Werke und Kunstströmungen, die sich mit der Lebenszeit und dem Schaffen des Schweizer Malers und Grafikers Franz Gertsch in Verbindung bringen lassen. Dazu zählen vor allem die internationale Pop Art sowie die US amerikanischen Tendenzen von Colorfield- und Hard Edge-Painting. Hinzu kommen weitere Werke zeitgenössischer und skandinavischer Kunst aus dem Besitz des Louisiana, die den Dialog zwischen den Museen und künstlerischen Generationen in die Gegenwart erweitern.Franz Gertsch (1930–2022) gehört zu den bedeutendsten Künstlern des 20. und 21. Jahrhunderts, seine Werke befinden sich weltweit in namhaften öffentlichen und privaten Sammlungen. Internationale Ausstellungstätigkeit, zahlreiche Ehrungen und Preise.

Love these shelves. Hanging them was incredibly simple. They came with a level to really help ensure they were straight. Directions were precise and easy to understand. Took me longer to decide where and how I wanted to place them than it did to hang them. Literally took me 5 minutes to actually hang both shelves. They are smooth, easy to dust and look amazing in all lighting. They are packaged well so I had no missing pieces and no damage. Super strong hold and I love that the bottom of each shelf has a screw to secure the bracket to the shelf so they don't fall. Where I live, that is a major plus because we have a train that comes through regularly and they haven't loosened a bit. Super pleased with this product.

Absolutely love these floating shelves. We bought three 30" and two 12". The quality exceeded my expectations. They feel incredibly solid, well-made, and high end.
