Der Best for Universal Dosensenker eignet sich perfekt für Trockenbohren in weiche und harte Baumaterialien, z.B. Beton (bis zu 10 mm Durchmesser), Kalkstein, Ziegel, Klinker und Mauerwerk. Lasergeschweißte Segmente sind fest mit einem gehärteten Stahlkörper verbunden. Dadurch wird ein unbeabsichtigtes Abbrechen verhindert und bieten selbst bei Trockenbohrungen in Stahlbeton (Armierung mit bis zu 10 mm Durchmesser) eine lange Lebensdauer. Die Bohrkorne ist für die Verwendung mit Aufnahmeschäften mit M16-Gewinde vorgesehen.
